Business Administration (BSBA)

What is A Business Administration (BSBA) Degree?

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree is thought of as a more analytically based program than a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, meaning that the courses you take will include more math and science.  The BBA is broader based with only about one quarter of coursework outside the business area, while the BSBA includes about half.  So, you’ll probably have fewer electives with the BSBA because you’ll be specializing more. With the BSBA you’ll be able to choose a focus field in business, which will prepare you some positions in accounting, marketing, finance, etc. without further training.  With the BBA breadth of coverage, you’ll likely have to take some additional training to specialize.

The video below discusses a “typical” program, so it should help regardless of which school you are considering.
