Marketing, Sales Management (BA)
What is A Marketing, Sales Management (BA) Degree?
Marketing involves managing relationships with customers. It’s not just about selling your product or service, but also about figuring out what customers and clients want and need in the first place. It also involves deciding which customers you want to serve and how best to do that. This degree trains students to lead sales teams in organizations by showing them how to hiring the best people, set goals, develop a sales plan, and analyze data to determine if the goals are being met. You’ll learn how to best assign team members to territories and to develop compensation plans that motivate employees to meet their individual goals.
Subjects that will be included in this Bachelor’s degree program, in addition to general education, are fundamental courses in business and marketing plus things like food retailing and wholesaling, services marketing, quality management, and leading sales organizations. With the BA in Marketing, Sales Management you’ll be ready for jobs like first-line sales supervisor positions, advertising account executive, media buyer or planner, and market researcher.
