What is A Biology (BS) Degree?

Biology is the scientific study of life in all forms including plants, animals, and microorganisms.   A Bachelor’s degree in biology can be a good spring-board to a number of careers in allied health.  It can also prepare you to be a research assistant, a technician in forensics, toxicology, ecology, or pharmacology, or a Biology teacher in middle or high school. Many people who major in Biology go on to earn a graduate degree so that they’ll have more options in higher-level positions.
