What is An Automotive Service Technology (AS) Degree?

Auto Tech is all about applying scientific knowledge of how cars and trucks are put together and work so that they can be repaired and maintained—hands-on.  So, with an AS in Auto Service Technology, you’ll be prepared to diagnose and repair brakes, engines, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, and transmissions; plus, you should be prepared to get a qualifying score on the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification exam, which most employers want to see.
