Environmental Biology (MS)

What is A Environmental Biology (MS) Degree?

Environmental Biology is the study of the science related to the environment.  To earn an MS degree in Environmental Biology, you will need to get a BS degree in biology or another related science first. Plus, you should have a good background in math and chemistry before starting your graduate work. To earn the degree you’ll study things like the population, whole organisms, evolutionary biology and environmental science.  Then you’ll look at how environmental biology relates to other things like the government, history, or global issues. You’ll probably choose one or more of those areas as a concentration to focus on.  The degree is designed to give graduate students lots of leeway in which direction they will go with their studies; it may even involve some study abroad.

The video below discusses a “typical” program, so it should help regardless of which school you are considering.
